That Snare sound awesome! I just picked up an older Sensitone Bronze 5.5x14 with the tube lugs and single flange hoops. Did this one originally have SF hoops do you know? Like did you just put on Die Cast hoops aftermarket?

Ich besitze einige AKG D19. Leider klingen nicht alle so gut. Bei manchen ist die Membran hart und sie verlieren ihren guten Klang. Ich habe nur die Exemplare behalten, die noch gut klingen. Persönlich finde ich bei den dynamischen Mikrofonen aber ansonsten nur die Sennheiser MD421 und MD441 richtig gut. Aber insbesondere bei den 421ern klingt jedes etwas anders. Da muss man sich auch eins raussuchen, was passt.

Yeah the Beverley was a copy of the Ludwig for sure, used to have one, then i got the Premier 2000, preferred the lever action with the flo-beam action.
